Academic fraud and forged certificates are a global problem, and our university also witnessed a real incident where studentsโ€™ records were manipulated without authorization. The project addresses this problem by designing a decentralized academic record verification system that ensures trust, privacy, and security through blockchain technology, NFTs, multi-signature access control, and zero-knowledge proofs.

Traditional academic certificate systems are:

  • Centralized and vulnerable to manipulation

  • Slow and manual in verification

  • Easy to forge or duplicate

  • Lack transparency and traceability

  • Require third-party validation and physical approval

This leads to a huge challenge: no secure way to verify authenticity instantly while preserving student privacy.

We built a decentralized platform that:

  • Makes certificates fraud-proof

  • Eliminates manual verification

  • Maintains privacy even on a public blockchain

The system allows universities to:

  1. Upload semester results using multi-signature authentication

  2. Mint semester and final transcripts as verifiable NFTs

  3. Verify academic records instantly using zk-Proofs

  4. Enforce a 6-month validation rule for each semester

This ensures authentic, immutable, and tamper-proof academic credentials.
